James Lapointe, M.Sc.A., Speech-Language Pathologist and owner

The profession of speech-language pathology has provided me with a variety of interesting experiences throughout my career.  I have work experience in rehabilitation, acute care, and currently in private practice.  I have been an active participant in student training since 2003 as a part-time lecturer at both the University of Montreal and McGill University.  During this time I have also had the privilege to provide continuing education courses for members of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ).   I held the position of Director from Quebec on the Board of Directors for Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) during a three year term from 2007-2010.    My professional experience covers all ages including children, adolescents as well as adults.   Beyond my professional experiences, I have found that having my own two young children has given me added insight into the development of language and the practice of my profession.

Isabelle Jeanson, T.S., Coordinator of Professional Services

I have worked at the clinic since it's inception.  James and I had the idea to create a clinic that serves a wide variety of needs.  A family speech therapy clinic.

With the help of Francine I coordinate the appointments and am available to answer any questions you may have.  Please do not hesitate to leave us a message.  It will be my pleasure to get in touch with you as quickly as I can.
